Święta święta i po świętach.

Okay, so I was just wondering about what I'm going to do on New Year's Eve. And I have 2 options.
First: my friend invited me to her party which she throws.
Second: my another friend invited me to her party but TOO LATE, because this friend from first option was FIRST. And I can't refuse her. It'd be not fair.
So... I have to choose first option. But what am I supposed to say to friend from second option.?
